About Guillermo Fuentes

Guillermo Fuentes has extensive experience in communications, operations, deployment, and administration. As an individual in the emergency medical services industry, Mr. Fuentes has helped several communities worldwide. He has worked in difficult situations in Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, Canada, and nearly every state in the United States.
Currently, Guillermo Fuentes is employed as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer for Fitch & Associations, LLC. His role requires him to lead the company’s operations, deployment, and administration efforts. This role enables Guillermo to utilize his experience and expertise in analysis, design, and EMS system management. The end goal is to create and develop deployment plans for clients. Over the years, Mr. Fuentes’ work has been recognized internationally, especially as he provides consultation services throughout the globe.
While Guillermo Fuentes has worked in this role for the past ten-plus years, he originally signed on with Fitch & Associations as their Senior Consultant. He worked in this role for about a year before moving upward within the company. His original role involved managing modeling, system reviews, and dispatch builds, among other concerns.
Before these roles, Guillermo Fuentes was the Chief Administrative Officer at Niagara Regional Police Service. He worked there for about five years, managing large-scale operations such as financial management, human resources, and information management. During this time, Guillermo led a team of over three hundred civilian employees. As the head of human resources, Guillermo developed and implemented policies and procedures related to recruitment, hiring, and employee relations.
Naturally, these are far from Guillermo Fuentes‘ only professional roles. Other roles include Interim Director (Niagara EMS), Associate Director (Niagara EMS), Interim Director of Prehospital Services (Urgences-Sante), Deputy Director of Operations Prehospital Services (Urgences-Sante), and Part-Time Emergency Medical Technician (Urgences-Sante). Some of Guillermo’s earliest professional experiences came from Urgences-Sante, where he started as a part-time medical technician. He worked his way through the company, handling many roles in his five years there. By the time he had left, Mr. Fuentes had managed a staff of over one thousand employees, set goals, and helped to achieve company goals.
Guillermo Fuentes‘ educational history is nearly as extensive as his professional life. He began at Dawson College, earning his DEC in social science. From there, he attended Ahunsic College for his Ambulance Technician training. This led to a continued education at the college, where he was trained in Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Emergency Crisis Management, and more. Guillermo Fuentes continued his education at Tulane University & Freeman Business School. He earned a master’s certificate in Business Administration, an advanced management Strategy certificate, and a Certificate in Business Essentials I and II. Finally, Guillermo Fuentes attended Aspen University to earn his Master’s in Business Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2010.
